Summary

CRDF Global is seeking chemical security subject matter experts (SMEs). On behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR), CRDF Global will convene a two-day, in-person workshop in Gujarat for approximately 20 participants from Indian chemical and pharmaceutical industries with responsibility for shipping, logistics, and management. The workshop is designed to build participants’ capacity to identify vulnerable points within the chemical transportation process, apply effective risk mitigation strategies, and evaluate the performance of existing security measures. This workshop will bring together a diverse group of industry stakeholders to exchange knowledge and best practices through expert-led presentations, facilitated discussions, and scenario-based exercises. Participants will examine the full lifecycle of chemical transport to pinpoint critical security gaps and co-develop practical, regionally informed solutions.

Scope

The subject matter expert (SME), hereby referred to as “The Contractor” will develop course materials for the workshop and travel to Gujarat, India to present the course materials during the event as an SME for Improving Chemical Supply Chain Security for Indian Industry Stakeholders to be held during October or November 2025 (TBC).
