CRDF Global Raises Awareness, Increases Capacity to Implement Updated Jordan Vaccination Guidelines in National Advocacy Meeting
CRDF Global, in collaboration with the Jordan Center for Disease Control (JCDC) and the Jordan Ministry of Health (JMoH), and with support from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), conducted a national advocacy meeting to support the implementation of the updated Jordan Vaccination Guidelines and promote the use of evidence from the 2025 National Vaccination Coverage Cluster Survey.
The objective of the event was to strengthen the capacity of vaccination focal points and health directorate representatives to translate updated national guidance and survey findings into effective field level implementation and advocacy. The meeting aimed to improve understanding of key changes in the national immunization schedule, reinforce standardized practices, and enhance communication strategies to address missed opportunities for vaccination and caregiver concerns.
Participants reported greater confidence in applying the updated guidelines, communicating consistent messages, and using survey evidence to support program improvement. The discussions generated valuable field insights to inform ongoing strengthening of the national Expanded Program on Immunization and support sustained vaccination coverage and equity across Jordan.
