CRDF Global Partners with AKSK to Deliver Comprehensive Cyber Hygiene Training in Albania

CRDF Global successfully delivered a Comprehensive Cyber Hygiene Training to participants across government, industry, academic and business sectors in Albania on May 7, 2025. Over 20 participated onsite in Durrës, and nearly 700 joined online. The team included CRDF Global’s Zuzanna Grüner, Senior Project Officer, and Anastasiia Fadeieva, Travel and Logistics Specialist.
This training was developed in partnership with the National Cybersecurity Authority of Albania (AKSK) and aimed at raising awareness of digital risks and improving cyber-attack protection capabilities, focusing on key techniques for protecting systems and data. Participants were also briefed on the importance of cyber hygiene in everyday life when it comes to minimizing the risks from human error.
In today’s interconnected world, vulnerabilities in one region can have far-reaching consequences. As such, cybersecurity is not just a national or regional concern, but a global one that transcends borders and requires collaboration, vigilance, and shared responsibility. Beyond this, cyber hygiene is an essential skill in today’s digital environment, and understanding best practices can make a significant difference in safeguarding personal, organizational, and national security.
