CRDF Global has implemented Cooperative Grants Program (CGP) activities in Ukraine since 1997. Through competitively selected research projects of joint U.S.-Ukraine research teams, the CGP provides opportunities for Ukrainian scientists to perform world-class research while learning the skills and standards necessary to pursue international research funding. To date, CRDF Global has supported over 300 collaborative research grants between U.S. and Ukrainian scientists. These projects have engaged more than 2,250 Ukrainian scientists, researchers, and students.
Scope of Work:
As part of the proposal review process for CGP competitions, CRDF Global requires the services of an subject matter expert versed in assessing dual-use scientific capabilities. CRDF Global annually reports on the number of dual use scientists from Ukraine engaged in its efforts, and therefore requires a dual use assessment of each proposed team member. This work includes:
