With support from the U.S. Department of State CRDF Global created a Cyber Hygiene E- Learning Course (CHEPL) (https://cybereducation.org/) in 2019, to increase the level of awareness among students on cyber threats and enhance their skills in cyber hygiene. A contractor, Ernst & Young LLC developed the content and another contractor, Technomatix LLC, deployed CHELP as on-line platform. CHELP consists of 11 modules and covers 60 minutes of instructional time in Ukrainian, English, Russian, Romanian and six Balkan languages. During the April-May 2020 the course was piloted by 4 Ukrainian universities. Later on it was decided to expand the project to Moldova and Balkan regions.
During 2020-2021 CRDF Global partnered with three Moldova universities: Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Moldova State University and Technical University of Moldova and trained more then 1000 students. In 2022 CRDF Global is planning to continue and expand Cyber security activities in Moldova through delivery of Cyberhygiene courses to relevant stakeholders (university students, government agencies, etc.), organization of Workshops, Hackathons, etc. For these purposes Regional Coordinator will be engaged to provide comprehensive support in identification and communication with possible partners to ensure the activities are implemented in a full.
