CRDF Global is seeking Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with experience conducting open-source research to produce concise reports of the commercial supply chain exploitation activities to procure chemicals, chemical precursors, and CW equipment in pursuit of state chemical weapons programs. To prevent a threat of pursuing chemicals, chemical precursors and equipment for offensive purposes, and build international capacity to secure commercial chemical supply chains, CRDF Global engages partners around the world to promote compliance with Know-Your-Customer (KYC)/Due Diligence concepts and UNSCRs 1540 and 2118. CRDF Global programs aim to raise awareness of illicit chemical weapons (CW) procurement tactics/indicators conducted by state-proliferators.
The SME would develop reports, presentations, and brief CRDF Global partners around the world on the results of this research, both in person and via online methods such as live or recorded webinars. The SME should have experience working and engaging with stakeholders from chemical industry, academia, and government sector in South and Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East and/or Eastern Europe.
